SCOTTISH National Party MSP for North East Fife Roderick Campbell has launched his new website.

The new online presence, at www.roderickcampbell.org, has been under development for several months and is intended to make it easier for local people to get in touch with their MSP – and enable them to find out more about what he does and thinks.

Mr Campbell said: “I am pleased my new website is up and running. It supersedes the web presence established during the election campaign last year and is intended to link in with my work in the Parliament and in the constituency, as well as social media.

“It is important that elected representatives make use of modern technology to enhance communications with the people they represent. All the more so in the more rural areas, such as north east Fife, where the distances between the communities that make up the constituency is a rather greater challenge than in the more urban parts of Scotland.

“While I hope the website will be of interest to the large number of north east Fifers with internet access, it cannot wholly replace the more traditional approach. I am still a believer in some of the more old-fashioned methods of keeping in touch, which is why I continue to hold MSP advice surgeries in the East Neuk.”
