Pupils hear debate

A GROUP of pupils and teachers from Buckhaven High School attended the latest in the series of Fife Talks, which is looking at the independence referendum.

Guest speaker at the event in Kirkcaldy, which was chaired by Glenrothes and Central Fife MP Lindsay Roy, was renowned Scottish historian Tom Devine.

Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, the MP for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath, also spoke, and met the Buckhaven group afterwards.
