Scottish Secretary hosts referendum Q &A in Kirkcaldy

The big names continue to roll into Kirkcaldy as part of the referendum debate.

Wednesday (June 18) sees Alistair Carmichael, Scottish Secretary, taking centre stage for a Q & A on the big vote which is now less than 100 days away.

He will be at the Dean Park Hotel, Kirkcaldy, for the event which starts at 7.00 p.m.

Doors open and refreshments available from 6.30 p.m.

The Northern Isles MP - one of the leading players in the campaign to keep Scotland in the union - will focus on issues surrounding the independence referendum and Scotland’s constitutional future.

The event is free but ticketed.

On Tuesday, July 8, Kirkcaldy MP,. Gordon Brown, shares a stage with impressionist Rory Bremner to talk about Scotland’s future.

The one-off event takes place at the Alhambra Theatre, Dunfermline, and it too is free but ticketed with a maximum of four per person from the theatre’s box office

Mr Brown said it promises to be a very informal night.
