Should’ve gone to Specsavers

CHILDREN in Leven are safer this winter, thanks to a local optician.

As part of Road Safety Week, Specsavers gifted a set of high-visibility reflective vests to pupils at Mountfleurie Primary School.

Adrian McCann, store director, said: “It’s really important for children to be aware of how to stay as safe as possible when near busy roads.

“However, it’s also very important drivers have their eyes checked regularly to make sure their vision is up to scratch for driving in the dark during winter time, when road conditions are often tricky.”
