Sir Sean Connery: Rumoured to be making an appearance to boost SNP campaign

Sir Sean Connery has made a return to the silver screen in a new film charting the history of St Andrews University.

Screen legend Connery will join director Murray Grigor OBE, and university principal Professor Louise Richardson in New York for the US premiere of the film ‘Ever to Excel.’

Having initially agreed to narrate the film, Connery was then persuaded to appear on screen as his involvement with the project grew.

“When Louise Richardson invited me to collaborate on a film to mark our 600 years, as a key part of the scholarship endowment campaign, I readily agreed,” he explained.
