Sparkling start to Holly's career

A TALENTED Pittenweem woman is taking the jewellery world by storm.

Holly Wilcox, who is just 22, is still celebrating after recently winning a Young Jewellery Designer of the Year award and has even had one of her pieces presented to none other than TV's Lorraine Kelly.

The former Waid Academy pupil, who specialises in designing and making fine, intricate sterling silver pieces, only graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College, Dundee, with a degree in jewellery and metal design in July but hasn't looked back since.

After attracting the attention of jeweller Lorraine Law, at her degree show, Holly was awarded the Dundee-based businesswoman's Young Jewellery Designer of the Year award and with it gained access to her wealth of experience.
