Two-year Community Payback ordered

A MAN with ‘considerable additional needs’ has been told he will receive the help he requires through a Community Payback Order.

Peter Bell (22), of 28 Alford Avenue, Glenrothes, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court last week. He admitted that on August 17 last year he assaulted Nicole Bell and grabbed her by the hair. He also admitted behaving in a threatening manner, repeatedly kicking a door cutting himself and resisting two police officers by struggling violently with them.

Sheriff James Williamson told bell he was sentencing him to a two year Community Payback Order to receive the help he needs.

“It is clear that in terms of the report and the nature of the offences that you need assistance because if this behaviour continues, you will end up in prison.”
