Volunteers from Coastwatch Units across Scotland recently visited St Monans to discuss the way ahead for Coastwatch Scotland.

John Kinsman, station officer at St Monans, and volunteer watch keeper Anne Kinsman, welcomed station officer Billy Lamb and duty station officer Carolyn Douglas from Irvine, Forth/Bowness station officer David Proven and station officer from Forth/Edinburgh Alex Burns.

Although the unit at St Monans was only set up last year, Coastwatch Scotland was formed in 2005 in Irvine as an independent voluntary coastal monitoring and safety organisation.

St Monans Unit is now in need of more volunteers - please email coastwatchstmonans@hush.com or call 07954717385 if interested.
