Wembley bound Glenrothes pupils are just the business

Glenrothes High School pupils have reached the final of a national business contest which will be played at Wembley Stadium.

They will compete against nine other schools from all over Britain in the Coca-Cola Enterprises’ Real Challenge event at the London arena.

The pupils will be given a sustainability-based business task, then give a presentation to a panel of experts.

They made the final after winning the Scottish title.

Town MSP, Tricia Marwick, has praised the pupils.

She said: “I am delighted to learn that pupils have reached the final of this prestigious competition.

“This competition encourages pupils to learn about business and enterprise and I am sure these skills will be invaluable to them later on in life.

“It’s a fantastic achievement and I wish the pupils the best of luck next month.”
