Police have arrested and charged a 32-year-old man following a robbery at an ATM in Kennoway.

A 52-year-old was robbed of a quantity of cash in Bishops Court at around 5am on Friday.

The man, who is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court tomorrow (Monday), has also been charged in connection with a number of other offences including theft and fraud in the Dunfermline, Glenrothes and Levenmouth areas.

Detective Sergeant James McGuinness said: “I’d like to thank the public for their support during our enquiries and for providing valuable information to our officers.

“It’s very much appreciated and we continue to ask anyone with concerns about suspicious activity in their area to let us know.”
