A man was described as ‘critical’ in hospital today (Wednesday) after falling through the roof at a farm near Kirkcaldy.

The accident happened around 11am at Longloch Farm, near the town, when the man, in his 50s, was said to have been seriously injured after falling through the roof.

A medical helicopter and a trauma team travelled through from Glasgow, while a local ambulance and a local manager also attended.

The man was flown to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where his condition was said to be ‘critical’.
