Man cut free from car after A92 collision

A man had to be cut free from his vehicle after a collision between a bus and two cars on the A92 near Kirkcaldy this morning.

The accident happened just before 7.00 a.m. on the stretch of the eastbound carriageway between Lochgelly and Kirkcaldy.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews from Kirkcaldy and Lochgelly fire stations attended the scene and firefighters safely removed one male casualty trapped in one of the cars.

He was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment.

No report on his condition is available at this time.
