Minor injuries reported after three car accident

A female casualty was cut free from a collision involving three cars on the Invertiel Road last night (Wednesday).

A blue Seat Leon, Honda people carrier and blue Skoda were involved in the accident.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident on the B9157 road heading to Inverkeithing just after 7pm on January 6.

The firefighters had to use hydraulic cutting gear to safely remove the trapped woman.

Six other casualties were taken to Victoria Hospital reporting minor, non life threatening injuries.

The incident was cleared and the road re-opened at 10.05pm.
