FS 2012, currently the largest student-run charity fashion show in the UK, takes to the stage in St Andrews tomorrow (Saturday.
More than £180,000 has been raised for charity over the past 10 years and in 2012 the event is being run in partnership with the Muir Maxwell Trust, a charity that supports the 70,000 children in the UK with epilepsy and their families.
An event spokesperson told the Citizen this week: ‘‘The FS 2012 partnership with the Muir Maxwell Trust will see the combination of established fundraising and event management skills from both the MMT and FS teams.
‘‘It will climax with two spectacular evenings: the internationally-renowned St Andrews Charity Fashion Show, celebrating it’s 20th anniversary, which will be preceded in Edinburgh by the inaugural FS 2012 Gala Dinner.
‘‘Both nights are the triumphant conclusion of an eight-month campaign of fundraising with fashion.’’
Each stage is set to make a real and lasting difference by raising as much money as possible for this most worthy cause.’’
