Students from Adam Smith College are getting ready to ensure all our mums are pampered this Mother’s Day, with a variety of treats and treatments on offer before and after the special day.
From light lunches and fine dining dinners in its Bistro restaurant, to manicures, facials, colours and cuts in its Inspired Salons – the College has it covered!
Beauty lecturer Margaret Watson said: “The students are looking forward to welcoming mums into the Salons over the next couple of weeks.
“The vouchers are a fantastic alternative to a gift and can be used whenever mums have a special occasion to get ready for or simply need some time out.
“Last year we saw many mothers and daughters come into the Salons together to be pampered and spend quality time together.”
The vouchers (available from £5 and upwards) can be purchased from the Hair and Beauty reception desk on the first floor of the College’s St Brycedale Campus in St Brycedale Avenue, Kirkcaldy. To make an appointment or purchase vouchers please call 223530.
The Bistro restaurant is also a popular choice for staff, students and the general public when they fancy a treat. Hospitality students and staff work hard to ensure that the quality of food and service provided rivals that of any top restaurant.
Hospitality Manager, Bryan McCabe said: “Vouchers for our Bistro Restaurants at Stenton and St Brycedale Campuses are proving to be a really popular gift idea.
“Occasions such as Mother’s Day gives our students fantastic experience in fitting their services around annual themes or events, just like they would do in a real restaurant or salon.
“Those buying vouchers to treat their mums can be assured they will receive great value for money while helping our students gain valuable skills and experience for the future.”
