Pittenweem church members have marked the opening of a new community facility.
A group gathered to celebrate the arrival of the new Coastline Community Church building at 21 Session Street.
Secretary Christine Heron said: “In November 2003, Anstruther and Pittenweem Baptist Churches came together as one church, East Neuk Baptist Fellowship.
“At the end of 2007, both old properties were sold off and we began to seek a site to build a new Coastline Community Church, a building suitable for today and for community use.”
Among those at the opening were Councillor Elizabeth Riches, Rev Margaret Rose (Pittenweem Church), Rev Isabel Dowlen (Episcopal Church) and several members of the Tarvit family, whose late father James Tarvit (a former chairman of Pittenweem Town Council) owned the site.
The premises have disabled facilities and will be used by local groups.
