The Buckhaven Community Church, created earlier this year, is moving to new premises in the town.
The church, which began as an outlet to allow people to explore aspects of their Christian faith, while complementing the work of other Levenmouth churches, started life at the Buckhaven Beehive in College Street.
However, it is moving to a shop at Unit 2, Toll Park, in Station Road, Buckhaven.
“The unit is adjacent to the roundabout and will make us more visible on a main route,” explained minister, the Rev Peter Carr.
“The Beehive has proven a good starting place for the church but, as our vision has expanded, with the opportunity for new areas of ministry, so has our need to move.”
The first meeting in the new premises is due at 4pm on Sunday, June 21 – with the last meeting in the Beehive happening this coming Sunday.
“The hope is, in time, the shop unit will be open at other times in the week,” said Mr Carr. “The Community Church will continue with the café style approach which we have established.”
