LEVEN Community Council is looking at possible new projects for the town.
Ideas are at an early stage yet and the members still have to build a business case for possible grant assistance.
However, some of the suggestions being looked at include a soft play area for children near the Durie Street end of Leven’s high street, along with crazy golf at Letham Glen.
It was also hoped, in collaboration with Leven Environment Group, to provide more hanging baskets and tubs in North Street, to complement those already in the high street.
Approaches were likely to be made to Fife Council officials for finance, if the ventures could be presented with a bit more detail.
Chairman Alistair Suttie said it was up to the group to come up with ideas to make the place better, which was one of the main reasons for attending meetings.
