Police in Glenrothes are trying to trace two people who attacked a man.

Officers are currently investigating an assault which happened on the towns viaduct connecting South Parks Road and Leslie.

The incident which was reported at 10.30pm on 24 May involved a 41 year-old Leslie man being assaulted by two persons who ran off from the scene. The man was taken by ambulance to Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline where his injuries are not considered life threatening.
