Police in Fife have concluded their investigation into a report of concern for a woman in Glenrothes.

On Monday, November 30, at around 6pm, officers received a report of an altercation between a man and a woman at the entrance to Glenrothes Golf Club.

However, officers have since traced both parties and are satisfied that no criminality had taken place.

Detective Inspector Stuart Morris of Glenrothes CID said: “I would like to thank the members of the public for their assistance during our appeal. We have since traced the male and female and can confirm that there will be no further inquiries into this matter.”
