Feedback forms are a regular feature of modern life. Organisers and companies, shops and individuals are all keen to hear our views on events we’ve attended, meals we’ve eaten, purchases we’ve made and holidays we’ve taken. And we give great credence to the opinions of others when we go to book or to buy, checking out star ratings, customer comments and comparison websites.
I’ve been given a number of unsolicited pieces of feedback this past week. ‘It was brilliant.’ ‘The children didn’t want to go back to school.’ ‘What an amazing experience.’ ‘It was fantastic. I was most impressed.’ ‘Bring it back again next year, please!’ What were all these people talking about? They were talking about their visit to the Bibleworld ‘bus’ which has been in Kirkcaldy for the past fortnight where they’ve discovered that the Bible isn’t some irrelevant dry old book but an exciting library of books that still have a relevance for today.
Bibleworld heads off to its next destination this weekend but it is open to the public tonight (Thursday) from 6.30pm-8.30pm. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.) You’ll find it in the lorry park at the end of the Esplanade. The feedback has been amazing. Why not check out Bibleworld – and the Bible – for yourself.
