Kim Rees is a half Welsh, half Italian translator who lives in a basement flat in Cardiff with her best friend Cleo. Since having her heart broken by her fiancé, Kim has been living the stereotypical heartbroken life - slobbing around and eating chocolate.
Things begin to look up when Kim finds out her grandfather who recently died has left her £5000 in his will. However, her mother decides that the two of them should go to the Isle of Capri to organise Gino’s affairs.
The trip to the island turns out to be something more special than Kim had expected.
This is a very light hearted, funny and entertaining book.
It’s a great read for anyone who enjoys a bit of chick-lit and wants an easy, but enjoyable read.
Be warned, you may struggle to put this one down.
Immerse yourself in island life through the characters who are easily likeable and feel as if you are with them on their journey in sunshine on Capri.
