Save the Wemyss Ancient Caves Society had a very busy weekend, with visitors coming from far and wide to see the internationally famous Wemyss Caves.

Education liaison officer Dr Sue Hamstead led three tours on Saturday, while the Open Sunday saw two large groups of visitors touring the caves, led by Dr Hamstead and chairman Mike McFarlane. Treasurer David Anderson had a busy Sunday, selling books and enrolling new members. Ron Morris presented a slide show featuring the wildlife of the Forth, which was enjoyed by all who visited the East Wemyss Environmental Centre. Mr McFarlane praised all the volunteer members of SWACS for their commitment.
