Party time for Margaret

Kirkcaldy woman Margaret Nisbet (75) attended the Queen’s Royal Garden Party at Holyrood recently.

Margaret, of Nicol Street, was representing the Marie Curie charity which she has served faithfully for over 20 years and helped set up the local fundraising group.

Margaret (second from left) was accompanied by her daughter Liz Evans (second from right), Marie Curie community fundraiser for Fife, Jennifer Gale (left) and Michelle Carroll, a Marie Curie health care assistant from Fife. Michelle was invited to thank her for all the support she shows Marie Curie above and beyond her nursing commitments.

Margaret said: “It was an absolutely wonderful day with a great atmosphere and I loved every minute of it.”
