A DISPLAY of photographs collected by Glenrothes Area Heritage Centre has proved popular.

The exhibition is being featured at Rothes Halls in Glenrothes and townsfolk are also being invited to contribute further pictures to the collection.

It is being held to keep the campaign for a centre in the public eye after last year’s successful temporary exhibition, which was visited by over 11,000 people in four weeks of opening.

Centre founder and chairwoman, Linda Ballingall, said: “We’re getting an excellent response and lots of terrific comments in our visitors’ book.

“The question everyone asks is when are we re-opening?

“I would definitely say that the support is every bit as strong now as it was last year.”
