Over 200 people took to the streets of Glenrothes on Saturday evening to help raise vital funds for Maggie’s Fife.

The annual Twilight Walk saw people of all ages walk routes of either one, five or 10 miles around the town, in aid of the cancer care centre in Kirkcaldy.

Walkers set off from the Lomond Centre in Woodside Way before completing their chosen distance and returning to the start.

Many of them donned fancy dress for the occasion, while some were joined by some four-legged friends for the walk.

Organisers have hailed the event a huge success and would like to thank everyone who took part and helped raise money for the cancer care centre, which provides support for those living with cancer and their families and friends.

A final total for the Maggie’s Fife fundraiser is currently unknown, as organisers are waiting for sponsorship from the event to come in.

Some walkers chose to take part in fancy dress.
