Police appeal after Glenrothes hit and run

Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspected hit and run incident in Glenrothes.

A 43-year-old female suffered injuries after being knocked from her bicycle on Warout roundabout in the town at around 6.25am yesterday (September 16).

Police say they are specifically appealing to the driver of a grey Mazda motor car who may hold vital information to contact them.

They have also urged any motorists in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.

Glenrothes Community Sergeant Kenny Greig said: “Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to come forward and am appealing to any member of the public who can assist or provide us with any information, anonymously if they wish to come forward.

“They can do so by telephoning us on 101 or by contacting Crimestoppers on 0333 259 2971.”
