Police have seized £4,000 worth of drugs in Markinch thanks to information from members of the public.
Community Constable Mhairi Liddell who co-ordinated the raid, said: “Based on intelligence, we obtained a search warrant for a flat in Markinch. Officers searched the flat and discovered £4,000 worth of cannabis, and a 46 year-old man was arrested.
She added: “Fife Constabulary is committed to taking policing closer to the community and this seizure and arrest was made possible due to the vigilance of members of the public. We can only deliver safer communities with the support of the public and I would like to extend my thanks to those people who continue to provide us with information to help us and deter those involved in drug dealing.
