OUR top tots for 2012 took pride of place last week at the presentation of prizes ceremony in the East Fife Mail’s Bonny Babies competition.
The young prizewinners and runners-up were joined at Leven’s Caledonian Hotel by some others involved in staging this year’s contest, including judges and competition sponsors.
Seated front left is the is younger age group winner, Jayden Dickson, of Methil, with mum Nicola. Beside them is Ajay Blyth of Kennoway, who won the older age category, with his mum Melissa.
Ajay’s little brother Ethan is also in the line-up, as he was runner-up to Jayden in the younger age section.
The main winners each received a large framed wall portrait from competition photographer Mark Rodgers, and a very generous £100 shopping voucher from main sponsor Sainsbury’s.
Standing, from left, are Kyle Neilson, from Anstruther, the runner-up in the older age group, with mum Lisa; Margaret Rae and Joan Graham from Wellesley Parish Church (who, along with Sainsbury’s and Kirkland High School, assisted with the judging), Mark Rodgers, hotel supervisor Lauren Turnbull, East Fife Mail chief reporter Ralph Mellon, Nicola Cunningham of Kirkland High School, Ajay and Ethan’s granddad, John Johnston, plus Donna Donnelly and branch manager Sue Baird, right, both of Sainsbury’s in Leven.
