A GROUP of pupils from Kirkland High School have been announced as finalists for a regional enterprise challenge.

Fife Economy Partnership’s schools challenge was launched to give young people the chance to come up with, and explore, new ideas for working with businesses.

Kirkland’s S5 business studies class, Douglas Anderson, Sarah Couper, Katy McKain, Sarah McKay and Caitlin Simpson will join pupils from Pittencrieff Primary and Glenwood High in the final.

The schools were expected to demonstrate their business know-how by pitching their ideas direct to an experienced panel at the culture of enterprise event which opened Fife Business Week yesterday (Tuesday).
