People in the Levenmouth and East Neuk areas are preparing to pay their respects on Sunday to members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
Remembrance services will be taking place in Leven, Methil, Methilhill, Kennoway, East Wemyss and Anstruther.
Details of each are:
Anstruther at 12.00 p.m.
Organised by Anstruther Community Council a parade will form at Cellardyke Church, travel along Toll Road into East Forth Street, and into Brae Head, Cellardyke to the war memorial.
East Wemyss at 10.40 a.m.
Organised by East Wemyss and Macduff Community Council a parade will form at The Haugh, and travel to the War Memorial on Main Street. After a service the procession will move on to Main Road and then East Wemyss BC.
Kennoway at 10.50 a.m.
Organised by the Royal British Legion (Scotland) Kennoway Branch a parade will form at Kennoway Shopping Centre and travel to the War Memorial at St Kenneth’s Parish Church before returning,
Leven at 10.45 a.m.
Organised by the Royal British Legion (Leven Branch) a parade will form at the car park in Victoria Road, and travel to the War Memorial.
Methil at 10.45 a.m.
Organised by Methil and District Sea Cadets a parade will form at the foot of Sea Road and travel along Wellesley Road to the War Memorial where a service will be conducted, before continuing to Wellesley Parish Church.
Methilhill at 10.30 a.m.
Organised by the Royal British Legion (Ladies Section) a parade will form at the British Legion Hall, Main Street, and travel along Grieve Street, Institution Row, Chemiss Road and then return to the hall.
