OVER 500 people flocked to Elie at the weekend to follow the Scarecrow Trail in search of over 40 scarecrows which had been created by residents and businesses to brighten up the village.
And just after Fifers had turned out for the local election, on Thursday, residents again took part in a vote – this time to nominate their favourite design.
Claiming first prize was Rock of Guild (pictured),
Peter Wilson, chair of the Elie Fayre Day Group, said: “The Festival has been a tremendous success.
“The Fayre Day Group would like to thank everyone who took part.”
