Scotland should lead the UK not leave it, says Gordon Brown

In the final days of the referendum campaign, a leading panel put forward a passionate and clear case for the economic, social, cultural, legal and diplomatic reasons for staying in the union.

The event, held in the Usher Hall in Edinburgh on Friday, was attended by over 1000 people and was organised by Working For Scotland.

Among the speakers was Kirkcaldy MP Gordon Brown who argued that the future for Scotland should not be to leave the United Kingdom but to lead it.
