THE renowned Key Chorale from Dunfermline’s sister city of Sarasota, Florida, will give a concert at the Carnegie Hall on Sunday.

The concert is being hosted by the Dunfermline/Sarasota Sister Cities Association.

The Key Chorale is one of the top choruses in the USA and performs with the Florida Symphony Orchestra.

The 50 singers, directed by Joseph Caulkin, are coming to Dunfermline after the visit was instigated by the Sister City Association committees, led by Ben Conway in Fife and Pauline Mitchell in the USA.

Mr Conway, chairman of the Dunfermline Sarasota Sister Cities Committee, said: “It will be a great pleasure to welcome such an internationally renowned choir to Dunfermline, particularly as it comes from our sister city, Sarasota.”

The concert, which begins at 3.00 p.m, will include songs from American, Scottish and European composers.
