THE St Monans Sea Queen celebrations have been hailed as a great success – despite a few rain clouds over the burgh on Saturday.
Organisers made the decision to hold events across the church and town halls, but say the day still went very well.
“It was great and everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves,” said co-organiser Peter Copland.
“The crowning took place in the town hall and Lucy Kilbane made an absolutely marvellous Sea Queen.”
Lucy (15) a pupil atWaid Academy, was accompanied by her attendants Lily Forsyth and Niamh Syme, fisher lasses Leah Stephen and Bonnie Marshall and page boy Jordan Reid.
