Nan Bond, of Pittenweem, staged a fundraiser in Levenmouth for her campaign in support of Fast Track Marie Curie, a scheme in which terminally ill cancer patients are cared for at home by Marie Curie nurses.

It was held at Methilhill Bowling Club and featured resident band Mixed Company, plus guest artist Stu Cuzberto.

David Goodsir, of A1 Travel, whose father was cared for by the Marie Curie team – as was Nan’s late husband, Rab – presented a cheque for £700, while around £3330 was raised on the night.

Nan, left, is pictured with her brother Forrest Graham, manager of Methilhill Bowling Club, his colleague Sharon Flemming and three of the Marie Curie nurses. Nan extended thanks to all who had supported the event.
