People in Kirkcaldy are being invited to showcase their talents at auditions for this year’s Templehall’s Got Talent competition.

The auditions are being held this Wednesday, July 31 at Templehall Community Centre in the town from 5.30 - 8.30 p.m.

The winner will receive £200 and the runner up will get £50. It will be a cash prize for over 18s and vouchers for under 18s.

The only criteria is that anyone entering the contest must live in Kirkcaldy, although they can be from any part of Kirkcaldy.

Seven finalists performed their acts at last year’s event and were judged by a panel led by local councillor Neil Crooks with the 2012 title being awarded to Sheree Samson. The runner-up was Wendy Mackie.

This year’s finalists will perform at Templehall Gala on Saturday, August 17.
