Music-lovers could be seeing stars in the making at Crail Folk Club tomorrow ( Thursday) when Barluath takes the spotlight in Crail Town Hall. The exciting young Scottish folk band, which includes Ainsley Hamill (seated left), a finalist in the recent BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2015, got together in 2010 and, ever since, have been winning major plaudits and a growing reputation for their traditional and contemporary style.

Barluath specialises in Scots and Gaelic song, fiddle, whistles, guitar, highland and border bagpipes, bouzouki, guitar and piano/keyboards.

Tomorrow’s gig begins at 7.30pm.
