The latest students to complete a personal development course at Fife College brought a touch of Christmas to their presentation event.

The young people donned seasonal outfits when they marked the end of their 12-week programme.

They were joined by tutors, family and friends at Fife College’s Priory Campus in Kirkcaldy when each student gave a talk on the course.

Rebecca Guild (17). from Glenrothes, said: “I came on the course to gain more skills to get a job and have really enjoyed it especially the residential and work placement.

“The placement helped me develop more of an understanding of what it is like to work in an office/admin environment while the residential helped me to build team work and confidence. After this I want to go to college and study business then get a job.”

Siobhan Shepherd, Prince’s Trust team leader, said: “The team programme allows students to gain valuable life and works skills and it was great to see the team bond and work so well together on all of the activities throughout the course. This final event is a great end to a fantastic course and gives the students a chance to celebrate their achievements with their family, friends and with the staff from partnership agencies.”

The course is open to young adults aged between 16–25 years old who are not in full-time education or employment. For more information go to www.fife.ac.uk or call 0344 2480115.
