A training session is to be held on Thursday, October 24, aimed at people keen to become involved in running Cupar’s new foodbank.

The training will be delivered by John Drylie from Dunfermline Foodbank and Laura Ferguson, Highland Foodbank development officer.

It is aimed at volunteers who want to be actively involved in serving in the foodbank, and during the meeting they will be given an opportunity to join one of the teams.

There are volunteering opportunities in admin, data collection, hospitality, warehousehousing, bag packing, supermarket collections and good housekeeping.

The event takes place in the Old Parish Centre, Short Lane, Cupar, between 7.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m.

Anyone who would like to participate is asked to contact info@cuparfoodbank.org.uk in order to book a place.
