Two Fife men made an appearance in court earlier this week, facing a series of charges which included attempted murder.
Rhys Marshall (20) and Connor Steele (18) appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday.
They faced a petition alleging charges which, among others, included assault, assault and robbery and assault to injury, as well as assault to severe injury and attempted murder.
The cases are understood to relate to a number of incidents in Leven on Saturday night, during which a 46-year-old man was seriously injured.
Neither accused made any plea or declaration and both were remanded in custody, with the cases committed for further examination.
They are due to make another appearance in court on May 27.
