Police in Fife have arrested and charged an 18-year-old for a theft and an assault and a 16-year-old for assault following anti-social behaviour in the Burntisland area.

The 16-year-old, from Kirkcaldy, and 18-year-old, from Burntisland, will be appearing at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today (Wednesday, October 14).

PC Bryan Weir, Burntisland Community Team, said: “In recent weeks the local community has told us that there have been incidents of anti-social behaviour by youths in Burntisland, and our officers would like to extend their sincere thanks to the public for their patience and assistance as our enquiries continue.”
