The retiral of former Lib Dem leader Sir Menzies Campbell after 28 years as MP for north east Fife has left the contest for the seat wide open.

The SNP are riding high in the national opinion polls, but the constituency’s traditional association with the Liberal Democrats and, before that, the Conservatives, make this a particularly fascinating battle.

Six candidates are campaigning for your votes on May 7 - Huw Bell (Conservative); Stephen Gethins (SNP); Tim Brett (Lib Dem); Brian Thomson (Labour); Andy Collins (Scottish Greens) and Mike Scott-Hayward (Independent).
