WAITING restrictions have been imposed on two roads in the Glenrothes.
Glenrothes Area Committee agreed to a traffic regulation order for Newark Place.
Fife Council lead traffic officer, Ian B. Smith, said: “Congestion on Newark Place is a regular occurrence.
“This impacts on the safety of road users, in particular on drivers of large delivery vehicles.”
A similar order was suggested for roads surrounding Adam Smith College’s campus in the town where, Mr Smith said, “increased parking demand has resulted in congestion, particularly at the junctions on Beaufort Drive, Stenton Road and Viewfield.” Councillors agreed to the moves.
