The campaign trails have been blazed, and are still being, well and truly blazed and the doorsteps are abundant with a rainbow of party rosettes and candidate teams across the Kingdom.
In the run up to polling day candidates in Glenrothes report “good campaigns” so far.
And the election has brought some familiar faces to the town.
Alex Salmond, the SNP Leader was omni-present in the Glenrothes by-election which attracted worldwide attention. As reported in the Gazette, he recently paid a visit in support of SNP candidate, Tricia Marwick.
Gordon Brown Labour MP, the former Prime Minister, also re-acquainted his links with the former 2008 battleground that Glenrothes was. He too came to the town in the run up to the Scottish election and dropped into the Kingdom Centre and local businesses to campaign for Labour’s candidate, Claire Baker.
