A life-saving north east Fife group has had a welcome boost.

Crail Welfare Association has donated £2000 to the East Neuk First Responders to go towards its vehicle replacement fund.

Cathreen Miller, president of the Welfare Association, said: “The committee were all very much in favour of making this donation as we know that Crail residents have benefited numerous times from the service the First Responders provide. We hope that this donation helps them replace their vehicle a little quicker.”

Gillian Duncan, co-ordinator and chairman, of the East Neuk First Responders, said: “We continue to be astounded by the level of support we receive from our local community. This is an extremely generous donation and it is very much appreciated. We would like to say a very big thank you to Cathreen and her group.”
