A KENNOWAY man has swept his way to head up one of Scotland's oldest sports' clubs.
Alistair McCabe, a former pupil at Buckhaven High School, has been appointed president of the 14,000-member Royal Caledonian Curling Club (RCCC).
Alistair started his own curling career in Fife 23 years ago and has now progressed through the ranks to take up the prestigious post of president of the internationally recognised "mother of all curling clubs throughout the world".
