THE CHIEFS lived up to their name at the recent ice hockey Scottish Cup finals.

Under 14 side, Kirkcaldy Chiefs, won a trophy at finals day held at Fife Ice Arena.

The Fifers, coached by former Fife Flyers star Allan Anderson, secured a 6-1 win over Dundee in the U14 cup final that included two short-handed goals.

Callum Adamson was Chiefs hero with a hat-trick and two assists while Craig Moore, Macauley Sala and Bruce Davidson also found the net.
Dundee's consolation came from Sean Dyer.

In the under 12's cup final, Kirkcaldy Redskins narrowly missed out on the title, losing on penalty shots to Elgin after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Dundee Stars won the senior cup final with a 7-4 victory over Solway Sharks.
