Lawhead win team trophy

LAWHEAD Primary School, St Andrews, won the team trophy at St Leonards National Junior Golf Championship, played last Friday.
Prizewinners were as follows:

Under 9 boys: 1 Alex Hu, St Columba's Primary, nett 63; 2 Keith Bowman, Lawhead Primary, 67; 3 Tom Robinson, Bromsgrove, 68.

Under 9 girls: 1 Emma Graham, St Leonards, 135.

Under 11 boys: 1 Coner MacCallum, St Leonards, 58; 2 Andrew Gibson, High School of Dundee, 59; 3 Ryan Brown, St Leonards, 61.

Under 11 girls: 1 Chloe Goadby, Lawhead Primary, 61; 2 Rebecca Todd, Lawhead Primary, 73; 3 Sophie Maguire, St Leonards, 77.

Under 13 boys: 1 Ben Kinsley, Madras College, 54; 2 Murray Watson, Madras College, 55; 3 Ross Proudfoot, St Leonards, 57.

Under 13 girls: 1 Lauren Whyte, Lawhead Primary, 66; 2 Heather Munro, Forthill, 68; 3 Lauren Goadby, St Leonards, 73.

Under 15 boys: 1 Ewan Scott, Madras College, 68 (bih); 2 David Home, Loretto, 68; 3 Josh Jamieson, St Leonards, 69.

Under 15 girls: 1 Ailsa Summers, High School of Dundee, 68; 2 Sarah Kinsey, High School of Glasgow, 73; 3 Claudia Beasley, St Leonards, 84.

Scratch prize on the Strathtyrum: Ben Kinsley, Madras College, 54.
Scratch prize on the Eden: Ewan Scott, Madras College, 72.

Team Trophy: Lawhead Primary.

Hole in One - A competition first: Recorded by under 13 Jamie Eedle from Fettes at the eight at Strathtyrum off the yellow tees played with his five wood.
