FIFE Flyers have gone back to the future as they finalise preparations for the new season.
The Kirkcaldy club have completed what is likely to be the last of their signings before the season starts with the acquisition of Steven Lynch from Edinburgh Capitals.
It will be a case of second time around at the Lang Toun rink for Lynch, who first played with Flyers a dozen years ago.
But player-coach, Todd Dutiaume is confident that the homecoming will bring benefits to his squad as they look forward to their first outing of the season on Saturday.
He said: "We're bringing Steven back into the Fife fold and I think he will be a tremendous addition for us.
"He gives us the option of having a really good utility player, who can play either forward, or back.
"His comment to me was that he just wants to get the chance to play and win games and that's good enough for me.
"That's the line-up more, or less complete, although we may have a few stragglers still to come.
Flyers take to the ice for the first time this season at Dumfries, where they will play an exhibition match against Solway Sharks
